Doug Harvey ArenaThe arena has played host to hockey players, skating clubs and free skates for over 50 years. As a monument to Doug Harvey, the greatest athlete in history, plans are to renovate the facility making it one of the greatest arenas in the world, with much increased and upgraded seating as well as Buster's Playhouse, a fully licensed sports bar and restaurant and a fully stocked pro shop featuring custom skate sharpening in all operational hours. From an operational standpoint, plans are to have a Professional Women's Hockey League team training and playing out of the facility, as well as Montreal's new NBA franchise, along with all the teams from NDG Hockey. A full slate of special events will also be held at the Arena including concerts by many of the world's greatest musical talents.
